March 31, 2011, FATE OF COYOTES Soon to be Decided! Ontario's wildlife "belongs" to all of us! The decision as to what happens to coyotes should not just be up to farmers and hunters. Yet, an 'Agriculture-Wildlife Conflict Strategy' will determine whether the cruel and senseless slaughter of coyotes in Ontario becomes an annual event or whether this province joins other more civilized jurisdictions that promote coexistence. Coyote killing contests - update

March 2011, NEW THREAT!  Minister now considering coyote slaughter. Right now, thousands of coyotes are being slaughtered in cruel killing contests. Please email Dalton McGuinty telling him this is not the kind of Ontario you wish to live in. It is all the more important that he hears from you given that his Minister of Natural Resources has recently stated she is considering making these barbaric contests 'legal'.
